He oversees all creative and editorial direction to the network’s team of producers and programming partners, and is responsible for developing series and specials as well as program partnerships. Babbit previously served as SVP of programming, overseeing the production team for popular series such as Bizarre Foods America, Hotel Impossible, Mysteries at the Museum and Trip Flip. Babbit joined Scripps Networks in 2004 and held several positions across multiple brands, including HGTV, DIY Network and Food Network. He’s also served as a writer, producer and/or director for The CBS Early Show, Comedy Central, ESPN, Lifetime, CBS News Productions, and 20th Century Fox.
