Latino Media Market

LMM.jpgThe NALIP 2014 Latino Media Market™ (LMM) is designed to bring funders, studio executives, distributors, dealmakers, agents, mentors and employers together with NALIP members and their projects.

Now in its tenth year, the LMM consists of a meeting series for up to 24 selected projects. Filmmakers meet one-on-one with industry representatives who provide sound advice on how to advance their project to the next level. If your project meets the specific needs of the company, this can potentially open a window for your project to grow into a commissioned pilot, obtain broadcast licenses or completion funds.

The LMM is a NALIP Signature Program created for NALIP members attending the NALIP MEDIA SUMMIT with qualified projects in the following categories:

- Low-budget Narrative Features in Development or Pre-Production
- Documentary Works-In-Progress
- Non-scripted / Reality TV Series Ideas

Sponsored by the National Endowment for the Arts, Media Arts; HBO, Comcast-NBCUniversal, California Arts Council Statewide Networks Programs and LPB, the Latino Media Market™ is an executive meeting series for select projects to have scheduled pitches, presentations and meetings with industry executives, funders, distributors, commissioning editors, representatives, and potential partners.

Axel Caballero, NALIP’s Executive Director said, “The selection for the 2014 LMM represents the culmination of years of a successful program. It far beyond exceeds our expectations and we would like to see these projects secure production funding and distribution. These filmmakers truly exemplify the future of Latino talent within our industry and certainly present a vision that is innovative and unique. We are glad to be able to move their stories and careers forward.”

NALIP would like to congratulate the following filmmakers:
