The National Association of Latino Independent Producers (NALIP) is a national membership organization, committed to helping Latino and Latina media makers with their professional goals. We seek to increase the quality and quantity of stories by and about Latinos, through professional development, community building, and mentoring.

NALIP is a 15-year old media arts non-profit that serves the national community of emerging and mid-career Latino/a producers, directors and writers of films, television and documentaries. We have members in the U.S., Canada, Puerto Rico and the Dominican Republic. We provide six annual national initiatives for professional development and community support.

These include:

  • Latino Media Market
  • Latino Media Resource Guide
  • Latino Writers Lab
  • Latino Producers Academy
  • Doing your Doc: Diverse Visions, Regional Voices

NALIP is the only national organization committed to supporting both grassroots and community-based producers/media makers along with publicly funded and industry-based producers.
